The white Roman dial is the classic Lady-Datejust look: applied gold Roman numerals, gold hands and the date under the Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock, all framed by a smooth, polished yellow gold bezel. On the three-link Oyster bracelet it is a little cleaner and more understated than the fluted-bezel, Jubilee-bracelet versions, and at 26mm it is a refined everyday dress watch.
What makes this one special
- The 79163 is part of the 791xx Lady-Datejust generation made from about 2000 to 2005, the generation that brought the Calibre 2235 to the 26mm case in place of the earlier Calibre 2135.
- Many Lady-Datejusts were made with a fluted bezel and a Jubilee bracelet. The smooth bezel and Oyster bracelet give this reference a cleaner look.

Jackson Jewelers 2-year Limited Warranty on Jewelry Purchases.
At Jackson Jewelers, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry. We offer a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects on all Jackson Jewelers' fine jewelry.
If your piece sustains damage due to a manufacturing defect, please contact us for an evaluation. We may ask you to send us a photo beforehand to determine if it’s an item we feel is under warranty. For customers within the US we provide free return labels if out of state.
For repairs not covered under our 2-year limited warranty, we will provide a detailed quote for your approval before any work is performed. If you choose not to proceed with the repair, we will ask you to cover the return shipment cost of your item. If a manufacturing issue is found, Jackson Jewelers will repair the damage or replace the item at no charge. Please note that any repair or service performed by a jeweler other than Jackson Jewelers will void this warranty.
Please be aware that all fine jewelry is subject to normal wear, and rings, in particular, may experience wear due to daily use and activities. Our warranty does not cover general wear and tear, loss of gemstones, product loss, or theft. It also excludes damage or loss resulting from a failure to address repairs needed to maintain the integrity of your jewelry.
Common issues not covered under the manufacturing warranty include:
- Discoloration of precious metals due to exposure to chemicals, makeup, pools, hot tubs, or bathing.
- Natural wear of precious metals and prongs over time, which may require restoration.
- Prongs wearing out or bending from everyday use, leading to a gemstone falling out.
- Loss of a gemstone due to damage or wear over time.
