Fraud Prevention & Order Security Policy (V2)

At Jackson Jewelers, protecting our customers and our business from fraud is a top priority - especially for high-value purchases such as luxury watches and fine jewelry. To maintain a safe and secure shopping experience, all online orders are reviewed through our fraud prevention screening process. We reserve the right to delay shipment, request additional verification, refuse service, or cancel any order that appears suspicious or does not meet our fraud prevention standards. These policies apply to all in-store and online purchases.

Orders That May Require Additional Verification - Certain orders may require identity or payment verification before they can be processed or shipped, including orders that involve:

  • High-value transactions, including luxury watches, custom jewelry, or fine jewelry
  • Shipping addresses that differ from the billing address
  • Mismatched customer and cardholder names
  • Multiple payment attempts or failed transactions
  • Orders flagged by our payment processor or third-party fraud detection systems

If Your Order Is Flagged - If additional verification is required, we may contact you and request one or more of the following:

  • A government-issued photo ID matching the billing name
  • The last four digits of the credit card used for the purchase
  • Confirmation of your relationship to the recipient for gift shipments
  • Written confirmation of the shipping address

For your security, we will never request your full credit card number. Orders will only be processed and shipped after verification is successfully completed. If verification cannot be completed, we reserve the right to ship only to the verified billing address or cancel the order entirely.

Verification Timeframe - Orders that cannot be verified within 24-48 hours after we contact you may be canceled and fully refunded at our discretion. Jackson Jewelers is not liable for any inconvenience resulting from a canceled order where fraud or payment irregularities are suspected.

Order Cancellation Rights - Jackson Jewelers reserves the right to cancel any order at any time prior to shipment if fraud is suspected, if payment cannot be verified, or if the order cannot be fulfilled for any reason. In the event of a cancellation, any payment received will be refunded to the original payment method.

Counterfeit & Fraudulent Payment - All payments are subject to verification prior to the release of any merchandise. In the event that a payment is found to be fraudulent, counterfeit, or otherwise invalid after merchandise has been released, Jackson Jewelers reserves the right to pursue recovery of the merchandise and any associated losses to the fullest extent of the law. Any instance of fraudulent payment will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

In-Store Product Verification - All merchandise is inspected and documented at the point of sale. Jackson Jewelers staff reserve the right to inspect any item presented for return, exchange, or sale at the counter. Any attempt to switch, substitute, or misrepresent merchandise — including presenting a different item in original packaging - will result in the transaction being declined, reported to the appropriate authorities, and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.

Right to Refuse Service - Jackson Jewelers reserves the right to refuse service to any individual suspected of fraudulent activity, including but not limited to payment fraud, merchandise substitution, identity misrepresentation, or any other activity deemed suspicious by Jackson Jewelers management. This right extends to future transactions and applies to both in-store and online purchases.
