At Jackson Jewelers, every watch purchase is backed by either the manufacturer's remaining OEM warranty or our Jackson Jewelers 2-Year Limited Warranty, unless otherwise specified at the time of sale.

Quick Guide

• 2-Year Limited Warranty on watches purchased from us, covering defective components and covered faults.
• Applies regardless of the watch's age. We don't exclude older references.
• Remaining OEM warranty? We'll handle claims with the manufacturer, and pick up coverage ourselves once the OEM warranty expires, through the full two years from your purchase date.
• Not covered: loss, theft, water damage from an unsealed crown, impact damage, cracked crystals, straps, and accessories.
• Original buyer only, non-transferable.
• Third-party work voids it. Any repair or service done elsewhere without our prior written consent ends coverage.

What does the Jackson Jewelers 2-Year Limited Warranty cover?

If an issue arises with your watch within two years of your purchase date, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace any defective components or correct any fault covered under this warranty. Once a repair is completed, coverage continues from your original date of purchase.

This applies to the watches we sell regardless of the reference's age. We don't exclude older or vintage pieces from coverage.

What isn't covered by the warranty?

• Loss or theft. We strongly recommend independent insurance.
• Water damage where the crown was not screwed down and sealed. A sealed Rolex is waterproof, but an open crown isn't, and water that enters through an unsealed crown isn't a defect.
• Damage from misuse, including knocks, dents, scratches, and impacts.
• Cracked or broken crystals.
• Minor time discrepancies.
• Straps, jewelry-style watches, pocket watches, and accessories.
• Any watch that has had repairs, modifications, or service performed by a third party without our prior written consent, which voids the warranty entirely.

This warranty applies to the original buyer only and is non-transferable.

What if my watch still has a manufacturer's warranty?

If a watch we sell has a remaining manufacturer's warranty of less than two years from your purchase date, Jackson Jewelers will assume warranty responsibility once the OEM warranty expires, covering the timepiece through the full two-year period from your date of purchase.

For watches still under OEM warranty, claims will be submitted to the manufacturer for evaluation under their terms and conditions. Our Rolex spare parts account lets us handle that process for watches we sold you.

If a watch returns from manufacturer service with an issue outside the scope of their warranty but still within our two-year coverage period, we may, at our discretion, repair or replace the affected component.

All exclusions listed above apply to both OEM and Jackson Jewelers warranty coverage.

Why do I need insurance if I have a warranty?

They cover different things. Our warranty covers defects, a warranty doesn't cover loss.

If a clasp or an older bracelet gives out and the watch is gone, or the watch is stolen, or it's damaged in an accident, that's an insurance matter rather than a warranty matter. We strongly recommend insuring your watch against loss, theft, and significant damage.

Most services are completed within six to eight weeks, though repair times may vary depending on the brand and the nature of the issue.
