Walking into a jewelry store should feel exciting, not intimidating. But we understand that sometimes it can feel like you need a certain budget, or already know exactly what you’re looking for, before you walk through the door.
At Jackson Jewelers, you don’t.
Our family has been part of downtown Salem since 1944. Today, we’re proud to remain a third-generation, independently owned Oregon family business. Together with the people who have made their careers here, we carry that history forward with a simple idea: everyone who walks through our door deserves a warm welcome and thoughtful, personal attention.
Your budget deserves respect
We work with young couples choosing their first engagement ring, people celebrating anniversaries, and clients creating elaborate, one-of-a-kind pieces. The budgets vary. The care and attention we bring to each person do not.
Tell us what you’re comfortable spending. Our job is to listen, explain your options, and help you find something you love within that budget. We won’t push you beyond it.
Our team doesn’t work on commission. We want you to feel comfortable asking questions, comparing possibilities, and taking the time you need. You don’t have to know jewelry. That’s what we’re here for.

Sometimes we meet someone shopping for their first ring who seems hesitant to ask too many questions or take too much of our time. We wish they knew how much we enjoy those conversations.
Helping someone choose an engagement ring is exciting for us. We get to hear about the person they love, learn what matters to them, and help bring something meaningful to life. Even after decades in this business, that still feels special.

Do I need an appointment to shop at Jackson Jewelers?

Can you help me design something custom?
Yes. We can create something completely custom or help develop an idea you already have in mind. We’ll guide you through the design, stone selection, and details along the way. We work with a wide range of budgets and can explain what’s possible within yours.
Can I shop online and then come into the store?
Absolutely. Our website is a great place to explore styles and get ideas. We’d be happy to continue the process with you in the store. If there’s a specific piece you’d like to see, text us beforehand so we can confirm its availability.
What if I’m not sure what I’m looking for?
That’s completely fine. You don’t need to know the terminology or have everything figured out before you visit. We’ll help you explore different styles and options and narrow things down from there.
